ITINERARY:
Day 01: Arrival to the City of Huaraz (3100 meters), installation in the Hotel, after breakfast departure to Churup Lake 4450 meters, to acclimate,
leaving Huaraz towards the Town of Pítec, passing by different colorful towns like: New Florida, Unchus and Llupa.
From Pítec the long walk begins costs above in an approximated time of 2 1/2 hours, going through rocks where it is necessary to make easy climbing to arrive at the lake,
after being in the lake during 1 hour approximately.

Days 02: Departure from Huaraz to the city of Chiquián (3400 meters) and then on to theTown Llamac campsite (3250 meters)
Days 03: Departure at 8:00 am from Llamac (3250 meters) to Cuartelhuain (4100 metres). Hike of 6 to 7 hours is observed first mountain: the Ninashanca, Rondoy. In passage we will pass by the colorful towns like: Pocpa, Paclla. Arrival to the Cuartelhuain camping.
Days 04: Cuartelhuain (4100 meters) - Carhuacocha Lake (4100 meters). Hike of 7 to 8 hours. Crossing the first pass of Cacananpunta
(4700 meters).
From where we can observe the beautiful snow-capped Ninashanca and Rondoy mountains and three lakes; Pucacocha, Yanacocha Chico and Grande.
We will descend to the village of Janca, after a rest we will begin to raise towards the second pass of Punta Carhuac (4650 meters).
Descend thtough the valley to our camp at Carhuacocha, where we'll have a panoramic view of Jirishanca Chico, Jirishanca Grande, Yerupaja Chico, Toro, Yerupaja Grande, Siula and Carnicero Mountains.
Days 05: Carhuacocha Lake (4100 meters) - Huayhuash (4300 meters). Hike of 6 to 7 hours over the third pass of Siula (4850 meters), where we'll have a panoramic view of Jirishanca Chico, Jirishanca Grande, Yerupaja Chico, Toro, Yerupaja Grande, Siula, Carnicero, Trapecio, Puscanturpas, Millpo Mountains and the Cordillera Raura. Descend between the middle of Lakes Atocshaico and Carnicero, observing the peaks of Jurau, Carnicero and Trapecio.
Days 06: Huayhuash (4300 meters) - Viconga Lake (4400 meters). Hike of 5 to 6 hours. Crossing the fourth pass, Portachuelo (4750 meters). Nice view of the peaks of Puscanturpa, Cuyoc, Millpo, and part of the Cordillera Raura. Arrival to our campsite at Viconga (4400 meters), where you will have the afternoon to enjoy soaking in the thermal waters of Atuscancha (4400 meters).
Days 07 : Laguna Viconga (4400 meters) - Guanacpatay (4300 meters). Hike of 4 to 5 hours, crossing the fifth and highest pass, Cuyoc (5000 meters). where we'll have a panoramic view of the Cordillera Raura, Pumarinri, Cuyoc Central, Puscanturpa, Puscanturpa Sur o Nevado Cuyoc, Trapecio, Quesillo, Huaraca, Jurau, Carnicero, Sarapo, Siula, Yerupaja grande, Rasac, Seria, Huacrish, Angoscancha, Cerros Rosario o Caramarca, Juitushhuarco Mountains. Descending to the camp site.
Days 08: Guanacpatay (4300 meters) - Huayllapa (3500 meters). Hike of 5 to 6 hours, descending through thelong Guanacpatay Valley, down to the village of Huayllapa camp site.
Days 09: Huayllapa (3500 meters) - Jashapampa (4600 meters) Base Camp of Diablo Mudo. Hike of 5 to 6 hours, crossing the sixth pass of Punta Tapush (4900 meters). The mountain peaks of Auxilio and Diablo Mudo are in clear view. Jashapampacamp site
Days 10: Jashapampa (4600 meters) - Jahuacocha (4100 meters). Hike of 4 to 5 hours.
Departure
after the breakfast, up to the seventh pass, Yaucha (4800 m / 15748 ft), from where both groups start the descent later through Haucrish Valley. Here we can see the Hirishanca and Yerupaja Glaciers. Arrival to Lake Jahuacocha, camp.
Days 11: Day to relax at Lake Jahuacocha Jahuacocha (4100 meters). Celebration the long hike with the typical Peruvian dish, “Pachamanca”. You may also take the chance to for for a short walk from the camp to Lake Solterococha and to the base of the Hirishanca glacier.
Days 12: Laguna Jahuacocha (4100 meters.) - Llamac (3250 meters). Hike of 5 to 6 hours over the last pass, Pampa de Llamac (4300 meters). We will get our last glimpse of the majestic snow-capped peaks of the Cordillera Huayhuash. Llamac - Chiquián (3400 meters) about 2 hours by bus, travelling along the same path on which we began our journey. Transfer from Llamac to Chiquián then to Huaraz. End of services.
