TREKKING HUAYHUASH - LLAMAC - VICONGA - CHURIN

ITINERARY: Day 01: Arrival to the City of Huaraz (3100 meters), installation in the Hotel, after breakfast departure to Churup Lake 4450 meters, to acclimate, leaving Huaraz towards the Town of Pítec, passing by different colorful towns like: New Florida, Unchus and Llupa. From Pítec the long walk begins costs above in an approximated time of 2 1/2 hours, going through rocks where it is necessary to make easy climbing to arrive at the lake, after being in the lake during 1 hour approximately. it is returned to Pitec, here it hopes the transport to us to return to Huaraz, in the evening verification of the material of Camping for Huayhuash Trek. Day 02: Departure from Huaraz to the city of Chiquián (3400 meters) and then on to theTown Llamac campsite (3250 meters) Day 03: Departure at 8:00 a.m. of Llamac (3250 meters) - Jahuacocha (4100 metres). Walk from 6 to 7 hours will be observed as the first snow Ninashanca, Rondoy, Jirishanca, Yerupaja Chico and Yerupaja Grande. Crossing the first pass of Pampa Llamac 4300 meters, then passes through a detour to reach the camp Jahuacocha. Day 04: Jahuacocha (4100 meters) - Cuartelhuain (4100 metres). Walk from 6 to 7 hours. It borders the Jahuacocha lake, Crossing the second pass of Sambunya 4800 m. From where we can appreciate the lagoon Solterococha and snowcaps of Ninashanca, Rondoy, Jirishanca, Yerupaja Chico and Yerupaja Grande, Rasac, among others. Descend to reach Campsite Cuartelhuain. Day 05: Cuartelhuain (4100 meters) - Carhuacocha Lake (4100 meters). Hike of  7 to 8 hours. Crossing the third pass of Cacananpunta (4700 meters). From where we can observe the beautiful snow-capped Ninashanca and Rondoy mountains and three lakes; Pucacocha, Yanacocha Chico and Grande. We will descend to the village of Janca, after a rest we will begin to raise towards the fourth pass of Punta Carhuac (4650 meters). Descend thtough the valley to our camp at Carhuacocha, where we'll have a panoramic view of Jirishanca Chico, Jirishanca Grande, Yerupaja Chico, Toro, Yerupaja Grande, Siula and Carnicero Mountains. Day 06: Carhuacocha Lake (4100 meters) - Huayhuash (4300 meters). Hike of 6 to 7 hours over the fifth pass of Siula (4850 meters), where we'll have a panoramic view of Jirishanca Chico, Jirishanca Grande, Yerupaja Chico, Toro, Yerupaja Grande, Siula, Carnicero, Trapecio, Puscanturpas, Millpo Mountains and the Cordillera Raura. Descend between the middle of Lakes Atocshaico and Carnicero, observing the peaks of Jurau, Carnicero and Trapecio. Day 07: Huayhuash (4300 meters) - Viconga Lake (4400 meters). Hike of 5 to 6 hours. Crossing the sixth pass, Portachuelo (4750 meters). Nice view of the peaks of Puscanturpa, Cuyoc, Millpo, and part of the Cordillera Raura. Arrival to our campsite at Viconga (4400 meters), where you will have the afternoon to enjoy soaking in the thermal waters of Atuscancha (4400 meters). Day 08: Viconga Lake (4400 meters) – Laguna Surasaca (4350 meters) - Churín (2265 meters) Hike of 7 to 8 hours.Walk up to the seventh pass of Portachuelo Viconga to 4800 metres, from here we will have a beautiful view of the Cordillera Raura and the southern part of the Cordillera Huayhuash, from here you can also see the Surasaca Lake, where we hoped to transport to town churin the lead in the journey will go through the villages of Quiche, and Cashaucro Oyón, and then arrive at churin, in this town will enjoy the thermal baths, transfer to hotel in churin Day 09: Return from churin to Huaura - Pativilca - Huaraz or transfer directly to Lima.
