This trek Circuit is definitely the most rewarding hike I have ever made. We enjoyed the tranquil blue lakes, expansive alpine pastures and the snow-capped peaks a lot! The trek was well paced with enough time to relax. Scheler was fantastic, teaching us a lot about the country Peru and its people, giving us lots of interesting information. Scheler added to everything we saw and did a personal touch. HUARAZ: ESCALADA NEVADO VALLUNARAJU 5686 m. (JUNIO - 2008) Realmente quería agradecerles por el excelente servicio que me brindaron en mi reciente visita a Huaráz. Rut se portó 1000 puntos haciéndome sentir siempre acompañada y atendida. Quiero que le den mi agradecimiento a Pelayo, sin su paciencia y permanente quía no hubiera logrado mi objetivo. 	TREKKING CORDILLERA HUAYHUASH (JUNIO - 2008) 12 Tage Trekking im Huayhuash. Ich durfte einen der beeindruckendsten Trecks kennenlernen, den ich je gemacht habe. Es war noch besser als ich mir vorgestellt hatte. Auf Anraten eines brasilianischen Freundes habe ich die Tour mit Artizon Adventure gemacht. Dieser Tipp war absolut klasse. Sheler mit seinen Kollegen sind absolut spitze, professionel und mit super Küche. 	TREKKING WILCAHUAIN - CHURUP - CORDILLERA HUAYHUASH (SETIEMBRE - 2008) HUAYHUASH TREKKING COMMENTARY By Carlos Pinto My two week trekking of the Huayhuash Range in September of 2008 was an unforgettable experience to be treasured forever not just for the memories of the magnificent glaciated peaks and landscapes
of the high Peruvian Andes but for the superb service provided by Scheler Torres of Artizon Adventures and his staff. Scheler personally led the expedition with the support of a camp cook Francisco and father and son team of animal handlers Zacarías and Elías, who set up the camp and led the eight burros and three horses on the trail every day.

	TREKKING WILCAHUAIN - CHURUP - CORDILLERA HUAYHUASH - CLIMBING DIABLO MUDO (SEPTEMBER - 2008) In September 2008 I went on a 15 day Huayhuash trek and climb of Diablo Mudo with my friend Carlos and two people from France.  I must say that living in the mountians of Colorado, being a climber, and then coming to Peru to see and be in the Cordillera Blanca and Huayhuash blows everything else away.
These truely are some of the great ranges of the world.  The only other comparable place to this high alpine environment is the Himalayas.  While getting to know and become friends with Scheler during my last two trips to Peru, I feel that he and his staff are some of the nicest, most professional, and solid guides around.  I have found that Scheler will go out of his way to keep his clients happy.  During our trek I was able to compare Scheler's services with what the other guide companies were doing, and I have to say he and his staff add the small but important things that everyone else seems to leave out.  For example bringing hot water to wash and a cup of matte de coca to your tent when you wake up, and providing local knowledge of the communities, mountains, and natural environment.  I will never forget our Huayhuash expedition, and definitely plan on returning in the future for some of the technical classic climbs of Peru.  Thank you Scheler, Francisco, Zacharias, and Elias.
